Dear Friend,
I received your letter with the check for which I greatly thank you. This is a great help for me since I am not always in the best of health and medicine is very expensive for us and my pension is not much. My wife Celia has Alzheimer’s disease.
During the war my mother, two brothers and two sisters were killed. One brother served in the Polish Army. He was gassed to death in Maidenek.
This was our fate. I served at the front all fours years and was lightly wounded.
With this I will end my letter. May you find yourself in the best of health.
