THE LAST SURVIVORS – ECHOES FROM THE HOLOCAUST is the inspiring and compelling story of the last Holocaust survivors in Eastern Europe and the heroic efforts to bring lifesaving aid to these forgotten heroes.
They fought as Partisans in the forests, survived concentration camps, brutal massacres of their families, and were silenced for decades.
Now, the award-winning cast, Edward Asner, Elliott Gould, Frances Fisher, Valerie Harper, Lainie Kazan, and Alan Rosenberg, gives voice to the survivors’ stories of loss and perseverance in powerful and moving performances.
Hosted by CNN HERO Zane Buzby, this outstanding program illuminates the work of The Survivor Mitzvah Project, which brings emergency aid to over 2500 survivors in 8 countries, including war-torn Ukraine, and is dedicated to creating a more hopeful final chapter to the Holocaust, one of friendship, kindness, and compassion.
For the last survivors, this is “a light in the darkness” and “a gift from destiny.” For the audience, The Last Survivors – Echoes From The Holocaust is an unforgettable viewing experience
